Bike Insurance
Bike Insurance
Bike insurance will cover most makes of motorcycle and give cover to experienced, female and new riders plus those owning a classic bike.
There are difference levels of insurance and these include:
Third Party Only: This will cover the insured for damage to a third party’s property or injury to the third party. This is usually the cheapest type of insurance.
Third Party Fire and Theft: This will cover the same as a Third Party policy but will also include Fire and Theft cover should the insured motorcycle be damaged in a fire or stolen.
Comprehensive: This is also known as either fully comprehensive or fully comp. This type of insurance policy will pay out on third party damage and injury, if the bike is stolen or set alight and will also pay for repairs or replacement of the insured motorcycle.
Circumstances and financial commitments differ from person to person and everyone will have to make the choice of cover they require or can afford. A little extra on a premium may seem a lot to pay but this can work out a great deal cheaper than having to have a motorcycled repaired or replaced after an accident. A Third Party Only or a Third Party Fire and Theft Policy will cover the insured bike for accidents.
Insurance for new riders can be expensive as is likely to remain so until a number of years experience has been gained.
Classic Bike Insurance can be a way of keeping costs down for those owning a older model motorcycle.
